Mandatory Reports

According to the 2020 Title IX regulations, all K-12 employees are considered mandatory reporters, meaning any staff member who receives a report of sexual harassment must promptly report it to the Title IX coordinator; this includes teachers, administrators, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, and counselors.
Key points about K-12 mandatory reporters under Title IX 2020:

Broad scope: Any report of sexual harassment, including verbal, physical, or visual conduct, must be reported by mandatory reporters.

No exceptions: All staff members are considered mandatory reporters, regardless of their role within the school.
Prompt reporting: Reports must be made to the Title IX coordinator immediately after receiving information about potential sexual harassment.
